The Early Carboniferous ammonoid stratigraphic assignment of the species Bartzschiceras mirandum
 BECKER & WEYER, 2004 in the "Paralytoceras zone" was incorrect.  This conclusion was based on
 the species "Paralytoceras sp. indet.", which apparently is a bivalve, and "Paragattendorfia aff.
 patens (VÖHRINGER, 1960)", which in fact belongs to the Late Devonian Wocklumeria sphaeroides
 (RICHTER, 1848).  These data are evidence for a contamination of the assemblage, prevailing a precise
 positioning in the stratigraphic scheme.
