Oum El Jerane (16 km west-northwest of Taouz)-
This extremely  reduced section displays an incomplete succession in which the horizon with Platyelymenia
annulata is missing.  Above well-bedded coarsely grained crinoid packstones with an uneven upper
surface, three lenticular dark limestone horizons are exposed, separated by thin shaly intercalations and
reaching about 10 centimetres thickness each.  All three beds yielded ammonoid faunas, dominated by
Erfoudites  rherisensis and Endosiphonites muensteri. The  Gonioclymenia Limestone begins after 40 cm of
grey shales.
