Atrous East (11,5 lan northwest of Taouz): At this place, the crinoid Limestone unit has a thickness of
one metre, and is overlain by a debrite with large components of reworked crinoid limestones, nodular
limestone clasts as well as biogenes including large fragments of orthoconic cephalopods, ammonoids
(Sporadoceras orbiculare, Cyrtoclymenia sp.), and placodermes. The debrite is covered by a laminated
haematitic crust that reaches a thickness of 10 cm, on which crinoid holdfasts occur frequently.Immediately
above this hardground, the Gonioclymenia Limestone is developed.
