The genus Falciclymenia comprises a range of forms with the tendency toward oxycone ventral side. The few species are regarded herein as related, and new genera (Karadzharia Korn, Bellaclymenia Becker, both with type species F. excellens) do not provide additional information.
Falciclymenia with well preserved spines, a character of specific rather than generic significance. Bellaclymenia has priority of about 2 months. Generic independence in any case questionable.
