Inner whorls subevolute to evolute; the umbilicus becomes closed in early ontogeny.

Flanks parallel or subparallel. Constrictions extremely rare or absent.

Growth lines slightly biconvex and rectiradiate; ventral sinus shallow.

External lobe Y-shaped, very narrow or narrow, usually with slightly curved flanks
