Diagnosis (after Bockwinkel et al., 2010)

inner whorls subinvolute or involute, sudden opening of the umbilicus in the intermediate stage as a result of reduction of the whorl height and enlargement of the whorl width. Suture with very narrow, subparallel external lobe with incurved flanks.
