Strong ribs crossing venter without interruption.

Chlupac & Turek, 1983, p.14: Shell evolute, whorls loose or in contact, gently expanding. Umbilicus broad, umbilical perforation usually large. Sculpture (ribs or growth lines) radiate or rursiradiate, extending across venter. Suture with broad lateral lobe and narrow ventral lobe; dorsal lobe absent or only slightly developed.-

Klug, 2001, p.485: Shell of small to large size, evolute, advolute or gyroconical, thinly discoidal; without or with a small imprint zone. Initially compressed whorl cross sections, later oval to subtrapezoidal. Very wide umbilicus, large umbilical window (2 mm to ca. 20 mm). Protoconch (0.9 to 1.0 mm) ovoid to subglobular, not bent. Low to moderately high whorl expansion rates (1.4 to 2.3). Sculpture with rursiradiate or rectiradiate, coarse ribs (20 to 100 per whorl) and growth lines extending across the venter. Suture line without or with a small internal lobe, with broad lateral lobe and a small and narrow external lobe; septa without lateral inflexions.

A:   Conch gyroconic, advolute or evolute.
C:   Rursiradiate and convex ribs.
