Lectotype - original of Wedekind (1914: pl. VI, fig.2a–b, Göttingen Collection, no. 388-54, re-illustrated by Hartenfels and Backer, 2018 in Fig. 14a, b), is designated as lectotype

"Onlya part of the original specimen was available for reexamination but it shows the typical, marked ventrolateral spines of an inner whorl, up to c. 35 mm diameter, and strong, paired ribbing. On the subsequent whorl (upto 18 mm whorl height and c. 11.5 mm whorl width),the spines turn into elongated ventrolateral nodes of approximately every second rib and there is a very deepmedian furrow on the venter. Sutures possess a veryshallow, rounded outer flank lobe (second adventitiouslobe), a deep, V-shaped, first adventitious mid-flanklobe and a subangular, moderately deep lobe on theumbilical edge" (from Hartenfels & Becker, 2018)
