Holotype: NM Prague L9106.

Klug, 2001, p.492: Erbenoceras with advolute conch up to 90 mm diameter (ww/dm = 0.15 at dm = 70 mm). Moderate whorl expansion rate in the middle and later growth stages (1.5 to 1.8 at dm = 60 to 90 mm) and the whorl interspace rate is always close to 1. Very wide umbilicus (uw/dm = 0.5-0.7). Between 60 and 90 mm diameter, 30 to 35 rursiradiate, convex ribs per whorl, and coarse growth lines run parallel to the ribs.
