Growth lines biconvex; pass almost radially out from the umbilicus and form a very shallow sinus on the

lower flanks (PI. 48, figs. 3,4) and a broadly rounded latero-umbilical salient. A deep sinus centered on the venter. The

holotype with a prominent series of ribs which accord in their course with the growth lines: These are well seen at about

180 mm. diameter and they become subdued at greater diameters. The holotype also shows a well developed strigate ornament - pl. 48, fig. 4
