A:  Conch form discoidal, with very narrow umbilicus.
B-D:  Sculpture consists of weakly curved lamellae and of broad and fairly deep constrictions forming unusual high ventral process on internal mold.
G:  Ventral lobe wide, with almost parallel, slightly  sinuous sides, and rather low, broad median saddle.

[Phylogenetic relationship uncertain; may belong to Girtyoceratidae].

[KUZINA 1980, p.79: Conch discoidal, very thin.  Whorls very invloute, with a tightly rounded venter.  Umbilicus tight.  
Sculpture of weak twice folded lamellae.  Wide and comperatively deep constrictions are present, which form a
very high ventral salient on the internal mold.  Ventral lobe wide, not deep, with parallel sides and low
median saddle.  Lateral lobe deeper than ventral lobe.]
