     Type species: Mesoclymenia nalivkinae Bogoslovskii, 1981, p.49 [OD].

A:   Conch form discoidal; venter and flanks flattened; umbilicus moderately wide.
C-D: No ribs, no nodes and constrictions.
G:   Suture similar Costaclymenia, but lateral lobe pointed.

[BOGOSLOVSKIY 1981, p.48: Conch thinly discoidal, flat, evolute, with wide umbilicus.  Whorls weakly embracing, high, thin, flattened laterally, trapezoidal in cross cut, angular, with a distinct ventral keel.  Shell surface smooth, covered merely by thin,
almost straight, bent foreward growth lines.  Suture line forms a ventral umbilical lobe, an inner inner lateral lobe and a dorsal
lobe.  Ventral lobe not large, rounded;  umbilical lobe wide and deep, teat shaped, sharpened at the end;  dorsal lobe thin
and very deep, trumpet shaped.]
