A:   Shell large (up to 25 cm in diameter, or more), "clymenoid": narrowly subdiscoidal, slightly involute, widely umbilicate, with
      compressed whorls, increasing rapidly in height. Septal necks long, usually forming a continuous siphuncular tube. Septa
      mostly convex in section.
B:   Growth lines S-shaped, sometimes concave-convex, with shallow sinus near umbilical seam, a broad shallow
      ventrolateral salient, and a deeply rounded ventral sinus.
C:   Prominent ribs and spines may be present.
G:   Suture in addition to ventral, lateral and dorsal lobes one or more adventitious and umbilical lobes.
