Type species: Cibolites uddeni Plummer & Scott, 1937, p. 373 [OD].

[Spinosa et al. 1975:] Paraceltins characterized by an angular mature venter.

Fig. TAX5090 A, B (sutures).

[Miller & Furnish, 1940, p.71:
Conch sublenticular as whorls are compressed, broadly rounded or flattened laterally, slightly impressed dorsally, and
angular or keeled ventrally. Living chamber is of the order of half a volution in length. Growth-lines form a ventral
salient, a rounded lateral sinus, a similar lateral salient, and a small sinus near the umbilicus. Each suture forms a
bifid ventral lobe, two pairs of rounded lateral lobes, a pair of small lobes near the umbilical seams, and a deep
narrow bifid dorsal lobe].

[Miller & Furnish, 1940, p.74, Xenodiscites: This genus includes primitive xenodiscids with the lateral lobes of the
sutures only slightly denticulate, and the ventral zone of the conch is angular.]
