[Shevyrev, 1965, p.172]: Shell inflated to compressed, evolute, with a wide umbilicus. Surface of whorls with coarse
straight transverse ribs, often terminating on the ventral border in large tubercles. Suture line of five lobe -
(V1 V1) U I:I1 (D1 D1). Ventral lobe relatively narrow. second outer saddle always lower than first and third.

Dzhulfites differs from Paratirolites, which is closest in the shape of the shell, in the small ventral lobe with
non-denticulate branches.
