[Bogoslovskii, 1958, p. 138, Devonopronorites: Conch discoidal in adult state, averagely involute, with weakly convex sides and evenly rounded venter.  In large specimens, which reach a diameter of 45-50mm, ventral side flattens at the area of the living chamber and the ventral surface becomes edged.  Umbilicus quite wide, especially in young specimens.  Shell surface smooth, carries thin growth lines, which form weak salients on the sides and a deep sinus on the venter.  Ventral lobe trifid.  First lateral lobe wide, two-parted, the others simple and unparted.  Four to five lateral lobes in all.  One-two umbilical lobes.  A thin, long, sharp dorsal lobe and four (on each side) lateral lobes developed on inner side.]
