Type species: Zhongningoceras bellum Yang, 1986, p.262 [OD].

A:   Conch form small, involute, with moderately wide umbilicus.
B:   Sculpture consisting of fine concave-convex growth lines which form long salient and deep hyponomic sinus.
C:   Fine simple ribs on the flanks; umbilical tubercles present.
D:   Several strong constrictions present; on the venter one shallow groove is partly exposed.
G:   Ventral lobe rather wide, with moderately low median saddle; adventitious lobe V-shaped and much less deep
than ventral lobe.

[Type specimens are very small and possibly immature].
