Type species: Applanoceras epichare Yang, 1986, p.261; OD.

[The genus is regarded herein as a junior synonym of Cavilentia  Ruzhentsev & Bogoslovskaia, 1971, because of its
similarity in conch form and suture-line.]

Yang, 1986, p.270: Shell rather small,convolute and lenticular with narrowly rounded venter; whorl section triangular, with lateral sides wide and slightly convex; umbilicus moderately wide and shallow. S-shaped transverse growth lines. About 8 constrictions. Suture with V-shaped lateral lobe and shallowly rounded umbilical lobe on umbilical wall.
