1999  Oxiglaphyrites Kuzina in Kuzina & Yatskov: 109.

Type species: Oxiglaphyrites insolitus Kuzina, 1999, p.109; OD.

[Kuzina, 1999, p. 109: The shell is small, semi-spherical with evolute whorls in juveniles and completely involute in adults.
The umbilicus is moderately narrow. The ornament in adults consist of straight lamellae. The ventral lobe is relatively
wide, with diverging sides at the top, and with a relatively low median saddle. The first lateral saddle is very narrow at the
top, sometimes subacute. The lateral lobe is wide. The second lateral saddle is asymmetrical and steeply descends to the
umbilical shoulder.

This genus differs from other genera in the family in the peculiar suture (unusually narrow, almost subacute first lateral
saddle].
