Type species: Parawocklumeria distributa Czarnocki, 1989, p.43 [OD].

A:   Triangularly coiled throughout ontogeny. Umbilicus small to moderately wide.
D:   Three strong constrictions.
G:   Shallow and wide median lobe in wide ventral saddle. First lateral lobe widely rounded, second lateral lobe smaller and
       divided by umbilical seam.

     Fig. see TAX789 A (suture).

[Becker 2000,p.43 regards Tardewocklumeria as startpoint of the family Wocklumeriidae because of the presence of a
shallow lobe within the median saddle. This view is not accepted herein: the median saddle remains relatively wide in Tardewocklumeria, with an inconspicuous shallow lobe (in contrast to wocklumeriids). The triangular coiling is regarded
herein as a coeval homoeomorphic feature common in Parawocklumeriidae, Wocklumeriidae,
Hexaclymeniidae (Soliclymenia) and Prionoceratidae (Mimimitoceras), see TAX4166 Fam. Wocklumeriidae and
TAX4165 Fam. Parawocklumeriidae].
