Klug, 2001, p.508, Diagnosis: Irdanites without a distinct imprint zone. With subcircular to subtrapezoidal whorl cross section. Protoconch ovoid, not bent; umbilical window larger than 4 mm in diameter. High to very high whorl expansion rate (> 2.4 to 2.9 at dm > 15 mm) after the first whorl. Growth lines with a prominent ventrolateral salient and a very deep ventrolateral lobe.
