Diagnosis.Conch small (1 cm at maturity), subglobose (W/D approximately 0.75) with depressed whorls
 (HIW approximately 0.75) and narrow umbilicus (U/D approximately 0.1). Sculpture includes narrow,
 tuberculate ventrolateral ridge and strong transverse ribs that intersect with ventral sulci to produce
 three longitudinal rows of bar-like tubercles across venter.  Mature external suture comprises wide
 ventral lobe with high medim saddle (hs/hl, 0.6) and narrow, lanceolate ventral prongs; broadly
 rounded lateral saddle; wide, asymmetric lateral lobe with basal digitations; and male rounded
 umbilical lobe.  Sutural formula:  (V,V1)LU.-ID.
