whorls). The venter is narrowly rounded, gradually
fused with wide, weakly convex flanks. The crosssec
tion is high for the genus. The umbilical shoulder is
distinct, slightly raised. The umbilical wall is narrow
and steep. The umbilicus is very narrow.

O r n ame n t a t i o n. The ornamentation is
poorly preserved. One specimen shows traces of striae
forming a ventral sinus.
S u t u r e (Fig. 3a). The ventral lobe is broad
(LW/LH = 0.74), with diverging sides. The median
saddle is moderately high (0.56 of the height of the
ventral lobe). The ventral prongs are long, broad, gen
erally lanceolate, slightly pointed. The first saddle is
narrow and angular at the top. The lateral lobe is
asymmetrical with a small process. The second lateral
saddle is broadly rounded
