Type species. Nodopericyclus circumnodosum Korn, Bockwinkel & Ebbighausen, 2010.

Small conch. Ca. 40 mm in diameter, conch ontogeny simple. Conch thinly pachyconic and subevolute, aperture low; umbilical margin angular. Venter broadly rounded. Ornament with sharp biconvex ribs and intercalatory riblets; biconvex contrictions on the internal mould. Suture with parallel-sided narrow external lobe (EL w/d ca. 0.40; EL/AL ca/ 0.80 with straight or incurved flanks and very low mediam saddle (MS h h ca. 18); ventrolateral saddle broadly rounded; adventive love V-shaped, almost symmetrical and acute.

Differs from Pericyclus in the strongly bifurcating ribs. The ornament is similar to that of Fascipericyclus, but in the latter the external lobe at preadult stage is V-shaped, while the vetrolateral saddle is narrowly rounded.
