Conch small, ca. 35 in diameter; simple conch ontogeny. Juvenile stage thickly pachyconic and subinvolute, adult stage thinly discoidal and involute with a narrowly rounded venter. Ornament with strongly boconvex riblets and intercalatory ribles. Strong biconvex constrictions of the internal mould. Extenal love V-shaped, narrow (EL w/d ca. 0.60; EL/AL ca/ 1.00 in adults) and very low median saddle (MS h ca/ 0.20); ventrolateral sadle rounded; adventive lobe wide, V-shaped, asymmetrical and acute.

Similar to Nigrocyclus Korn & Feist, 2007 but Nigrocyclus possesses ribs with a convex course and a very narrow external lobe with strongly divergent flanks. Kusinia differs from Jerania in the presence of sharp ribs.
