Diagnosis. Shell pachyconic or globular and involute, whorl width rapidly increases; flanks converge, venter rounded, aperture moderately high to high; umbilical wall often flattened, umbilical margin narrowly rounded or subangular. Growth lines very fine; no constrictions. External lobe narrow, parallel-sided or slightly pouched; median saddle low; ventrolateral saddle broadly rounded; adventive lobe V-shaped, asymmetric or symmetric. Differs from Eurites mainly in the shell ontogeny (in Eurites umbilicus opens temporarily in the middle growth stage, while in umbilicus opens gradually; whorl width increases more considerably that in Eurites.
