        to Shevyrev materials - teste Tozer, 1969, p.354.

[Shevyrev, 1965, p.170]: Shell discoidal, completely flat, evolute. Whorls in cross section oval-rectangular or
rounded-quadrate, with convex or compressed venter. Coarse straight ribs terminating sharply on the ventral border. On the
inner whorls the ribs are sometimes strongly inflated, forming large tubercles. Ventral lobe comparatively narrow. Bases of
lobes with small denticulations.It differs from Xenaspis in the presence of sculpture on the phragmocone, and from
Xenodiscus, in the presence of coarse straght ribs on the body chamber. In addition, it differs from
both genera in the comparatively narrower ventral lobe.
